Kids Fun Coding Classes
Class 1
Students will learn the basics of coding while bringing a “City Scene” to life. They will add characters and objects to the city and use code to add movements.
Class 2
Students will continue to practice the fundamentals and learn more advanced coding while incorporating literature. They will be presented a story, then they will retell the events of the story by creating sequence scenes and bring the story to life using coding.
Class 3
Students will be introduced to augmented reality. They will create their own scene(s). Once the scene(s) are completed, they will be able to view them in augmented reality. (A cellular phone (smart phone) will be required for this class in order to experience the augmented reality effects).
Class 4
Students will create a roller coaster in any environment they like. They will use coding using our XYZ grid to create a roller coaster and view in virtual reality.
Class 5
Students will create a Find the Hidden Objects game using coding. Students will design, create, and code their own game. Once game is complete students can have their friends and family members play their game.
Class 6
Students will use their creativity to design and create a virtual spaceship. Once the spaceship is created, they will code it to travel in virtual reality, while learning about other planets and having their virtual spaceship travel from planet to planet.
Class 7
Students will learn the basic principles of construction and architecture while learning special awareness. They will create and model through the construction of a virtual house. Then they will have fun decorating the interior and exterior, while using coding to open and close doors, and make other parts of the home functional.
Class 8
Students will create a virtual escape room. They will create coding to help navigate through the virtual escape room. Once the virtual escape room is complete students can have their friends and family members try to escape from their space.
Class 9
Students will apply physics while coding. They will create a scene with objects reacting to each other. Students will learn and be able to demonstrate Newton’s Laws of Motion.
Class 10
During this project, children will continue to practice coding while applying their curiosity and creativity to design and create a zoo. They will add animals and people and also create habitats for the animals. Students will create code to their space.
Class 11
Students will be using Augmented Reality to depict the four seasons. Students will create a scene during summer, fall, winter, and spring. They will code different scenario’s around these seasons. (A cellular phone (smart phone) will be required for this class in order to experience the augmented reality effects).
Class 12
Students will have fun creating and designing a parkour adventure game. They will create an obstacle course and code events throughout; such as moving floors, obstacles, and elevators. Students will create all the coding necessary for the game.
